Description
You should be comfortable inserting zippers and sewing accurate seam allowances as this project is very small, and attention to detail is important for the final product. We’ve included dozens of pictures to accompany each step, as well as cutting measurements if you prefer not to print out any of the pattern pieces.
Specs: Finished wallet is approximately 5” wide by 4” tall when closed (11 1/2” when opened), it has 6 card slots, with 2 (optional) clear ID pockets, 1 long cash slip pocket, and an exterior zippered coin pocket.
To get started, you will need the following supplies:
• Fat quarter main fabric
• fat quarter accent fabric
• 1 yard (45” wide) Woven interfacing
• (1) 5” #5 bag zipper
• (1) Purse lock/magnetic snap
• 14 gauge clear vinyl 9”x 2 5/8” (optional)
• ¼ sew-in Peltex (Pellon 70)
• Fray check
• Marking pen
• Duct tape (optional)
• Rotary cutter and ruler
• Seam gauge (optional)
