Blue Calla The Clover Convertible Bag – Paper Pattern
The Clover is a medium sized bag and as the name implies, it can convert from a backpack to a cross body bag. The pattern comes with instructions to make a train case style bottom as a more advanced option. If you’re not ready to tackle an advanced sewing pattern, you can use the intermediate version without the train case.
Regardless of which version you choose to make, both have 2 exterior zippered pockets under the flap. The flap has a thumb lock (or tongue lock or tuck lock) closure with a handle at the top for carrying. You can replace it with a twist lock if you prefer.
Please note that the train case portion requires a binding finish.

Linds Handmade – H2O 2GO Sling Paper Pattern
This is an intermediate pattern, in that it uses advanced bag making techniques that require the sewer to have a general familiarity with bag making. It requires accurate cutting/sewing and installing a curved zipper which can be challenging for new sewers.
Specs: roughly 11″ tall at its tallest (along the sides) with an oval base that is 6″ wide by 4 inches deep. The interior compartment is left wide open so as to accommodate all different sized water bottles, (a 32oz Yeti was confirmed to fit inside.) The front pocket is 8″ tall and has 2 inner slip pockets (both large enough to fit an iPhone 8+, cash, passport or face mask) and 4 card slots that can easily be doubled up for more storage. We’ve even included a bonus option in the pattern showing you how to make it without the card slots if you have no need for those, substituting a slip pocket and pen pocket instead, AND another option eliminating that front pocket entirely if sewing for a child.
Materials and supplies needed:
• Fat quarter main fabric (more if using for body strap)
• ⅓ yard waterproof canvas (WPC)
• ¼ yard accent fabric
• ¼ yard of 17” decovil light or Peltex F71
• ½ yard of 45” woven interfacing (*fabric dependent)
• 16” or longer #5 zipper (for zipper by the yard, cut it exactly 14”)

• 57” of 1½” webbing for strap

I’ve found a mistake!
This pattern does have some known errors.
Incorrect cutting information on some paper patterns: Please follow cutting out guide on first page of booklet. The errors are as follows: 1 – Pattern Piece D Flap: pattern piece should read “Cut 1 outer, cut 1 lining, cut 1 fusible fleece, cut 2 medium weight interfacing”; 2 – Pattern Piece G Back strap tunnel: pattern piece should read “Cut 1 outer or contrast, cut 1 medium weight interfacing”; 3 – Pattern Piece I Zip and slip pockets: pattern piece should read “Cut 1 outer, cut 2 lining, cut 3 medium weight interfacing”.
Paper Piece B Lining measurements: Some of the paper patterns have the measurements reversed on the cutting out page for Paper Piece B Lining. The correct measurements are 13″ x 12″ (33cm x 30cm). The paper pattern piece, label, and PDF patterns are all correct.
Material requirements: You may need 1 5/8yds (1.5m) of medium weight interfacing for this bag.
RECOMMENDED FABRICS: Please review the back of the pattern cover for recommended fabrics. Shop our selection of Cork Fabric or Faux Leather, for a designer finish. We also offer quality Interfacing and Stabilizers

Mrs H – The Crossbody Bag – Paper Pattern
Originally designed for The Bag Retreat, the Crossbody Bag sewing pattern is a small shoulder bag with just enough storage for your essentials – purse, phone, keys, and sunglasses. As well as the central pocket, the bag has a shaped slip pocket and a hidden back pocket too, perfect for hiding away your phone or wallet.
The front flap of The Crossbody Bag is great for customising. Although the bag sewing pattern guides you through how to sew a quilt as you go French Braid, you could instead embroider or applique the flap, use another patchwork technique, or keep it simple with a feature fabric. Style The Crossbody Bag your way!
Try to choose fabrics which are not too thick. Fabrics such as upholstery fabrics and faux leather will be dependent on the strength of your sewing machine. At its thickest, you’ll be sewing through 8 layers of outer.
Fabric:
Scraps of co-ordinating fabric, at least 3 different patterns, you will need to cut (10) 2” x 8” (5cm x 20cm) and (1) 2” x 2” square

3/4 yd (0.6m) Lining (directional will need more)

1 x FQ Fusible fleece
9” x 10” (23cm x 25.5cm) Non fusible batting/thin foam stabiliser
Hardware:
(1) x 6″ (15cm) #3 zip for the zipped pocket or use longer and cut to size
(1) x 3/4″ (18mm) Slim magnetic snap
(2) x 1/2″ (1.2cm) Strap clip with D-Ring

Mrs H – The Squiffy Sling – Paper Pattern
Simple but stylish, The Squiffy Sling is a great beginner sew. With fun asymmetrical styling but just one pattern piece for outer and lining, it’s a quickie!
One of my most popular sewing patterns, this is a great pattern for showing off your interesting fabrics. Use a solid fabric in a bold colour to contrast with your faux leather base overlay, or use a fun design to really make the shape of the bag pop.
The pattern includes instructions on using a half moon magnetic snap, creating a fully lined cross body strap and adding both zip and slip pockets. There are also placement markings for using a different fastener on the pattern piece.
As this bag sewing pattern has just one main pattern piece, you might find it easiest to use non-directional fabrics.
