Blue Calla Mimosa Market Tote – Paper Pattern
The Mimosa Market tote is a very large bag that can be used as a market tote, a beach tote or a large everyday tote.
It has 2 large exterior side zipper pockets, a large oval base, an optional tab closure with instructions for a twist lock but can easily be substituted with a different closure. The vinyl accents could easily be replaced with fabric – the instructions will apply to both methods. The interior of the bag comes with 2 large slip pockets and an optional removable false bottom to give the bag extra support at the base.
MEASUREMENTS: 13.5″ W x 13″ H x 8″ D

Exterior fabric:
1 yard cotton fabric
1/4 yard vinyl

1 yard fusible fleece

(4) 1” rectangle rings

For closure, either:
(1) twist lock for tab closure
OR
(1) 18mm magnetic snap
SEWING EXPERIENCE: This project is fairly easy if you have extensive experience with zippered pockets. It should be suitable for a confident beginner. The project will take about 4-5 hours to complete.

SPECIAL FEATURES:
The Big Bag is simple and functional. It was designed to carry lots of stuff! Sewing stuff, retreat stuff, school stuff, traveling stuff. Pockets on both sides of the inside give it just enough storage for the smaller things, but not enough to interfere with the roominess that is the signature of the Big Bag.
The Big Bag pattern is 6 pages of full color photos and step by step instructions.
The Big Bag pattern DOES NOT include paper templates. Fabric pieces are meant to be cut using a rotary cutter, mat and ruler.
